Hey! I'm Samareua, an all-around enthusiast who loves fitness, self-development, outings that involve food, and curating new hobbies. In 2020, I had aspirations to complete my undergrad degree in Psychology and pursue med school. However, with the challenges brought by COVID-19 in the medical field. I found myself desiring a different path. I wanted more time and energy for personal pursuits and, most importantly, to escape the cycle of being underpaid. To make a change, I started researching and learning about different avenues in tech. I aimlessly applied for every role that I saw. After a month, I realized this process wasn't working. Shifting gears, I began leveraging my existing skills, eventually leading me to a role at a big tech company. I am still connected to my passion of helping others, that’s how Tech Girlies University was born.
